The Know Your Lemons Foundation (previously known as "Worldwide Breast Cancer") is a nonprofit I founded in 2014, and am now the CEO. It is based on my PhD work in Design Thinking, exploring new approaches to tackle the problems of taboo, fear, and illiteracy that prevent early detection.
It is now used in over 90 countries, and in 22 languages. Nearly 1 billion people have been reached online. This is a remarkable feat not only for breast cancer, but by the fact that there are only two full-time members of staff, and it was started with my savings.
